Have you felt stuck at some point in your life, as though you have reached as far as you could, as though there is no visible solution?
Moving the body can really help with these stuck feelings, and as we move our body, something shifts in us and all of a sudden we know what the next step can be.
Here is a simple movement exercise for you to try:
Find a quiet and private space. Bring to mind whatever it is that you are feeling stuck about. It could be an idea, an emotion, a creative project, or anything at all that you are stuck with. See it in detail in your mind. What about it makes you feel stuck. Become aware of where in your body do you feel this stuckness.
Once you have a deep sense of this feeling in your body, play some soft instrumental music. Start moving your hands to the music. Move your hands, arms and torso. Now allow your body to move with the music, move however it feels like. As you let go and move with your natural rhythm, feel the freedom. Allow the stuckness to be released from your body and mind. Continue to move until you feel a release.
